What is Salsa Dancing?
In short, it is the world’s most popular Latin street dance. With ties to Cuba, Puerto Rico, & South America, it has spread like wildfire around the world and is danced by “Salseros/Salseras” in cities as diverse as London, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Shanghai and Toronto. In fact, any evening of the week in London you'll find hundreds of people dancing their hearts out at Salsa lessons and/or at one of the many amazing Salsa clubs in London. Go traveling and you’ll likely find the same in every major city in the world! When you start Salsa dancing, you join a huge family of Salsa dance-loving 'citizens' living all around the world.

Private, one-to-one lessons are the fastest and most effective way to become a great Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha, or Merengue dancer in London. Unlike the time-pressed, crowded conditions in group classes, the teacher can take as much time as is needed to break down all the Salsa dance steps to ensure that you get it at a deeper level; you have the opportunity to learn special Salsa leading/following/styling secrets that may only be touched upon in a group class. In short, you learn how to Salsa dance in the way that is best for you and/or your dance partner.

As both a Champion Salsa Dance Performer *, and an experienced Salsa Dance teacher / instructor, Davin electrifies the dance floor with his unique fusion of LA (Los Angeles) style POWER and NY (New York) style SMOOTH salsa dancing. Whether you see him social dancing at a London Salsa club or doing a dance show at a wedding, hen party, or corporate event, you'll notice his unmistakably infectious smile, jaw-dropping Salsa moves, and eye-popping musicality. Edie “the Salsa Freak“ Lewis, former World Salsa Champion & ESPN World Salsa Competition judge called him, “One of the best Salsa dancers, stylists she has ever seen.”
Graced with over ten years of dancing and teaching experience, Davin is often complimented for his humorous, energising, and clear way of teaching the Salsa steps. He has performed and taught in cities around the world: London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, San Francisco, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Cuba, and others. In addition to that, Davin is an experienced musician-singer – having gone to the quarter-finals in the Canadian Idol Singing Competition - as well as an experienced Martial Arts Teacher with Black Belts in Sei Ki Do, Goju-Ryu Karate & a Brown Belt in Hap Ki Do. To the end, Davin is committed to bringing all the knowledge and expertise he has gained from these musical, athletic & life-changing experiences to help you become a healthier and happier person through Salsa dancing.
